"Back in early 2023, my friend Jack was trying to make AI images of a venus fly trap smoking a cigarette, which still makes me laugh. I was already writing a song about a person who acts like one, and I always liked how the song title looked on the tracklist of Television's Marquee Moon, so I figured it might be interesting to use as a reference. This warped, human-like trap."
