Accessibility
We want sadiestreetrecords.com to work for everyone. This page covers where we are with that, what we’re doing about it, and how to get in touch if something on the site isn’t working for you.
What we’re working toward
We’re building this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That standard covers things like keyboard navigation, color contrast, screen reader support, and clear labels on forms and buttons.
We’re not done. Sadie Street Records is a small operation, and parts of the site are still being built or refined. We’re actively closing the gaps and the site improves every few weeks.
What you can expect today
- Keyboard navigation across all primary pages
- Alt text on the images we use to convey information
- Form labels and field instructions on signups and checkout
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Document structure that works with screen readers
What we’re still improving
- Color contrast in a few accent treatments tied to our brand red
- Captions and transcripts on video content (coming as we publish more video)
- Focus indicators on interactive components in our custom sections
If something isn’t working
If you run into a barrier on the site, please tell us. We read every message and we’ll do our best to fix the issue or find another way to get you what you need.

When you write, it helps to include the page you were on and what you were trying to do. Browser and assistive technology details (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, etc.) are useful but optional.
